Richard Marsden (b. 1994) is a printmaker from Leeds, currently living and working in Glasgow. Marsden holds an MLitt in Fine Art Practice (Printmaking) from the Glasgow School of Art, is a founding member of the Leeds Print Workshop and works part-time as a gallery assistant at Glasgow Print Studio. He has exhibited nationally and internationally, with solo exhibitions in Glasgow, Leeds, and Berlin.

Marsden’s practice is process-driven, exploring the unexpected outcomes of overlapping multiple forms and colours using etching and screenprinting. Initially informed by architectural images, his work soon evolves into its own visual language, characterised by its geometric, balanced, formalistic compositions.
